On the Road to Tamworth

What does one do after buying a new car, they simply drive as far as they can in one day. And that is exactly what me and a friend did.

On the 17th January 2013, Myself and a friend woke up one morning and decided we will take a drive to Tamworth. We quickly packed our bags and were in the car by 7.30. Our trip started in a small country town named Crows Nest which is approximately 45 mins North of Toowoomba along the Great Dividing Range.

After driving for 20 mins we came across a small country town name Cabarlah. We were highly suprised to find a Cuckoo clock centre along the New England HighwayLabels. We could not resist the temptation to stop and take a few photo's

After exploring such a wonderful shop, we kept driving down south along the New England Highway where we came across the NSW boarder.

One of the most fascinating towns we came across in our Tamworth Road Trip was Uralla. Uralla is a small town located along the New England Highway just south of Armidal. It has a wonderful Military Museum that I would highly recommend for anyone who loves a little history to visit.

Finally after 12 hours of driving we reached our destination Tamworth. Our Tamworth Road trip was complete! We arrived at the Golden Guitar just before the sun set
